The Duke has asked for us to begin brainstorming ideas on the working title: Awakening Hyrule.
Of course we intend fully to incorporate the realms we've grown to love, including the Twilight, Sacred/Dark World, Termina, etc., but we will need to come to a consensus of exactly which of the three timelines to work from.

So since we will be covering many, if not nearly all the aspects of the chaotic chronology of the Zelda Universe, I would like to start off with some open suggestions and such.
The Ancient Tribe--those who wielded the power, then subsequently sealed away Majora's Mask in the Hellpit Moldorm was defeated...perhaps they were the Dark Interlopers what became the Twili. And to continue from this, perhaps those magical Interlopers were in fact the Gerudos of old. Interesting idea I would like to branch from. Stone Tower should be as important as the Goddesses this time around, non?

Also, a must-see if we're going with anything related to the Ancient Tribe, Majora's Mask, the Twili, etc. It's not definite, nor is it canon, but I think we could work from this theory and provide an excellent story.

Link will undoubtedly begin somewhere near Hyrule's Castle Town.
We have the majority of places here taken from Ocarina of Time, but I'd like to include other places such as: Termina, the alternate world, as well as certain monumental points from the other games.
The Eastern Palace, Tower of Hera on Death Mountain--both from A Link to the Past, etc...
I really just want to see an environment encompassing the Zelda Universe as one large whole, with our story.
First off, which timeline to go down?

Obviously we'll be heading down the middle path, where Child Link returns and warns Hyrule of the impending danger provoked by Ganondorf...leading to Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, and onward.
Seeing as Majora--and Termina--will most likely come back with a striking vengeance this story, I'd like to see how we can add the turmoil of Hyrule with the ancient Mask that mocks the Goddesses.

i plan to bring the courage of this character into this story and will make sure to stay true to our goal here.
totally dig the premise. Stone Tower could be in essence a nexus within the realms for the characters can cross over? it would have to come with a price, or through great peril.
also, speaking of ascension, i was thinking of giving the link a hawk; i'm actually writing a pretty graphic novel based off of the ORIGINAL zelda story, and it's pretty gritty. instead of navi, who was NOT in the original LOZ, i chose to give him a hawk named shannon. i mean not to get rid of navi (though she IS pretty F**KING annoying) but to add shannon as another character aspect. let me know if that's gravy and i'll throw it in my character thread.
also another great idea i had was that link stays in the future instead of going back as in OOT, and he and zelda have already had a child; because the spiritual stones and everything else still technically exist in the past, chld link could still come and warn the court. since link had already completed this task already (in our story), it would create a paradox that we could build upon almost effortlessly. there would be a myriad of possibilities for locations, twists, ect...
well, there's my first few cents, let me know what you think!

We will be taking elements from both A Link to the Past--the timeline where Link is defeated--as WELL as going down the Child Link's path after Ocarina of Time. So be prepared for a wild ride.

So for the time being, while we wait for Princess Zelda's arrival, it would be in our best interest to discuss the actual setting for Awakening Zelda, non?
Long story short this takes place after the Child Era from OoT, following Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess and ultimately Four Swords Adventures. Something old, something new.
Okay, so Link, I'm sure you've been brought up to speed about Link being a descendant; this is good. As Ramelia, the Twili Sorceress, it is my goal to finally reunite at least one of the generation Links with the Hero of Time's long-lost companion, Navi...I hope it bodes well! Not only that, but I'm aware Eferion has some neat plans to throw at you on your quest, as well. I'm not far behind, but my intention is to play more of a side-less role. Sure, I might help you, Link, but in time when we start seeing the enemy's true colors, I might have to aid him, too. It's all a gray line for Ramelia, and she is wise as she is powerful.
I just hope we live up to the expectations of a Zelda character!
Also! If you look in Secondary Characters, any of you, I'd like to take Kotake and Koume, aka Twinrova, please!

this is all so exciting; i've no objections to anything thus far. we have the power to mash up as many different zelda legends and move through accordingly. like i've said, each game i've played as link, i've played not knowing what's coming (walk-through's are for the birds), and am ready to tackle this adventure with the same spirit. link is nothing if not courageous, and surely would have to think quick and choose his actions wisely. ramelia, twinrova's a fine choice... definitely a quintessential aspect of the zeldaverse. good choice!
