1. No god-moding of any sort will be tolerated between characters unless given permission to do so by another player. For instance, you may not just assume to grab the throat of another character without failure, unless the player behind said character gives you the go-ahead. Further, though this is allowed at times, please limit your use and try not to abuse the privilege. You do not control any other player but your own.
2. Out-of-Character conversation or matters not concerning LoZ: Awakening Hyrule are to be kept to the OOC board; if not a warning will be issued and, further, actions will be taken to ensure that in the future you comply.
3. Though LoZ: Awakening Hyrule will strongly carry the elements of the Legend of Zelda franchise, this role play is not a crossover and you are not permitted to carry over characters from other games/movies in the series. Exceptions will be made through me upon request.
4. If you decide to take on the role of one or more Secondary Characters, please inform the board in the "Secondary Character" board that you've claimed them. And if you do wish to use those characters, you must be active with them whenever necessary.
5. Cursing is fine but please remember to be conservative.
6. Keep sex scenes to your Instant Messaging window, for it has no place on this board. All relationships are acceptable, but please don't get too crazy.
7. When coming into the role play be sure to set up both your account and character profile. There will be a template I strongly advise using as the first post in the "Character Profiles" thread. Your character will not be starting off with every weapon, skill, or ability. You will have one or two, as will the rest of us. If you're a villain, that is another matter--see me or a moderator and we'll discuss it.
8. When going to and from a location within the story line, make sure to post ***Off to [insert thread], in [insert board]*** when exiting a certain thread and then posting ***From [insert thread], in [insert board]***. This will help us follow your character's personal path within the story line. Add page numbers, if you're feeling up to it.
9. Please be sure to spell check before posting. I'd like to keep a well-balanced, clean and neat board, thanks.
10. [PLEASE, in your character profiles, be sure to add a running history post, where you will write down each new thread your character has been in. By using this, you can keep track of your progress and other players can read YOUR story. Remember, do not hop around all willy-nilly. Role play your transitions from place to place.]
